Our Story
Spectrum Sensory Gyms started in a small Wisconsin workshop with one goal: build the kind of sensory environments that actually help children grow. Not off-the-shelf playground equipment rebranded as “therapeutic” — real, purpose-built gyms designed alongside occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
That workshop has grown into the most trusted sensory gym company in North America. Over 20 years and 500+ installations across 48 states, we've designed and built gyms for family homes, pediatric clinics, hospitals, schools, daycares, ABA centers, and open-play facilities. Every single one is hand-crafted by our team of designers, carpenters, and certified installers — never outsourced, never mass-produced.
We're still a family business at heart. That means every project gets personal attention — from the first phone call to the final bolt. We don't believe in cookie-cutter solutions. No two spaces are the same, so no two Spectrum gyms are the same. Your ceiling height, room dimensions, doorways, electrical, and your child's unique sensory profile all factor into the design.
